Writing a good musical description is key to successfully generating tracks and getting the results you want and is perhaps the most important factor in getting the results you want.
Musical Description
Musical descriptions can be provided in either natural language or in a structured format of comma-separated tags.
When you provide the description you want to provide as much information as possible. The more information you provide the better the AI can understand what you want and generate a track that matches your expectations.
For example:
Bad prompt: A happy song
Good prompt: Upbeat pop song with high tempo, bright instrumentation and female vocals with a strong tremor. Electric guitars and drums accompanied by a strong and heavy beat.
Dimensions
Writing a solid musical description comes down to providing as much information as possible and being as specific as possible. This is a skill that you slowly develop over time.
Try to consider the following dimensions when writing a prompt:

Try to avoid writing contradictory information in your prompt. For example, if you write that you want an upbeat sad song then the AI will struggle to fulfill that request. Be clear and specific in your prompt about the direction of the song.
Also note that if you provide custom parameters such as BPM then you should not include these in your musical description as the underlying AI model can get confused.
Tips
A few tips when running into problems:
- If you want to strengthen certain elements in your prompt then you can repeat them multiple times.
- If you can provide temporal information to explain the direction of the song (e.g. starts with a strong pop beat, middle becomes calmer, ends on heavy metal), this can help the AI better understand how to blend your instructions.
