Installation

MelonSound is a desktop application designed for MacOS.

You can download MelonSound either from the download link on the front page or after purchasing the software it can also be downloaded from the link you receive in your email and from your account on Gumroad.

After opening the downloaded file, follow the instructions on screen to continue by dragging the application icon into the applications folder. MelonSound will now be installed on your computer.

First time you start MelonSound it may take a minute for macOS to verify the application. This is normal and will only happen the first time you start the application. After this the application will automatically download all necessary AI models. When the download completes MelonSound will start up and be ready to use.

MelonSound will by default start in trial mode, and can be used without any limitations for as long as you want to test it with the only caveat that it is not possible to export or save projects. This lets you try out the software fully before deciding on buying or not.

You are now ready to start making music!
